I had never seen video of this game before, having only read about it, but apparently BattleToads was a harsh bitch of a game. Harsh enough to make number one on Cracked.com’s 10 most irritatingly impossible old-school video games.

I had always thought Ghosts n’ Goblins (the game where your character is most often in his underwear and one shot from death) or Ninja Gaiden (made by the man who didn’t want an easier setting – only difficult) would be considered the tops on that sort of list, but they just barely make the cut to the 2nd page of the article.
