Comments on the Kotaku story that provided this link indicate that the ship only has a single pixel which can be hit to cause the player to blow up, so it’s not quite as insane as it looks.  That’s still a far tougher boss battle than I could ever take on.

A couple of cool City of Heroes videos that were highlighted in a thread on the CoH forums showing some solo fights against Arch-Villains:
