Overkill’s The Walking Dead

If you are in to killing zombies (and honestly, shouldn’t everyone be?), you may be interested to learn about Overkill’s coming game The Walking Dead. Releasing November 6th in North America (Nov. 8th elsewhere) for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, this is a Left 4 Dead style team-based zombie survival game.

Having been hooked on Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 for a long, long time, I’ll be looking toward picking this up when it releases. I don’t pre-order much any more, but this one may make the list.

The Waylanders

From DSOG we read about an upcoming game called The Waylanders.

A fantasy RPG inspired by beloved classics such as Dragon Age: Origins, Neverwinter Nights 2, and even a smidge of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Waylanders is a party-based experience set in the Celtic and Medieval eras featuring innovative and technical combat to make it stand out all on its own.

I’ll be buying this when it makes it to release. Love me some Neverwinter Nights and Dragon Age.

Crazy Gravity Portable

Long ago, I modded my PSP to run homebrew code.  After doing this, I discovered there’s really not much homebrew gaming for the PSP that’s worth having.  However, catching up on my QuickJump PSP reading today, I found this little gem, which I’m going to put on my PSP:

Hopefully it will be as fun as it looks.

I command you to dance!

In what may be one of the finest advertisements EVAR! for a game, we have Stalin vs. Martians:

What dancing has to do with the gameplay, I can’t fathom.  But how often does one get to see a dancing Stalin?  Rhythm is a dancer!

RunMan – indie game development

If, like I do, you get all moist and steamy for a lot of the work coming from the independent games arena, you’ll probably like this one as much as I do.

I love the simple platformer genre.   This one looks to be a good platformer, but a nice (damn nice) speed to it, and the quirkiness that I see so much from indie game developers.   (via IndieGames blog)
